THIS SASSY LITTLE SUMMARY OF SCHOOL HOUSE BOOZE REALLY MADE OUR DAY.
WE WERE FEATURED ON THE LIST OF TOP 10 WOMEN FRIENDLY DRINKING EVENTS IN TORONTO!WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN BETTER COMPANY!
No textbooks or note taking required for this class. Just an open mind, empty glass and a spirit to learn.
Here’s to finding your signature cocktail, discovering the difference between lagers and ales, ordering with confidence, and everything else inbetween.
We know that a little education can go a long way, so learn along with us, top up your glass and become an A+ booze connoisseur!
Dubbed as the Tipsy Teachers, we ask the questions we were once too afraid to ask; what’s the difference between ales and lagers? Shaken and stirred? Do bitters make your drink bitter? Wait… you’re supposed to sip tequila? What’s on tap and what does draught even mean?
Before starting out on this boozy adventure, we found ourselves ordering the same drink all the time and came to the conclusion that there’s more to life than a vodka cran. Now we’re on a mission to learn all things alcohol and share our new knowledge with our readers!
Join the class to learn all about this wonderful, and sometimes confusing, world of booze.
You’d be crazy to think that we could do this all on our own. How would we manage the rowdy kids at the back of class with the spitballs? Our interns help keep School House Booze in tip-top shape, while bringing some textbook tipsy knowledge to the staff room.
From NYC to Vancity, across the pond, and back to Toronto, we have Supply Teachers from across the globe! These city savvy foodies, boozies, and health nuts are here to school you on everything from the history behind what’s in your glass to upcycling those old empties.
Although we would love to say that we just woke up one morning and knew all there was to know about booze, it would be a pretty big lie. If it weren’t for the wonderful mentors we’ve met along the way, we would still be stuck on post number one.
We encourage you to try new flavours and get out of your comfort zone. It's like being a foodie, but for booze (a boozie, if you will).
However, at School House Booze we never encourage our readers to participate in unsafe levels of alcohol consumption.
